In the distance, four towers of a
castle appeared at the far end of an
immense park. There was someone at
the gate, an owl, perched on one of
the gateposts. "Pegasus! What a
lovely surprise!" "My dear Gaspard,
I am bringing you visitors from
Earth. May I introduce Bastien the
homing pigeon, and Pierrot the
sparrow."
